Historic Preservation Fund Subgrant FY25

The State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) is pleased to announce HPF25 Funding in the amount of $104,000. 

Applications Due March 13, 2026

Subgrants can support surveys, planning, archaeological investigations, and building rehabilitation. Private property owners are not eligible.  Resources must be listed in the National Register of Historic Places to be eligible for grant-assisted rehabilitation projects.  HPF subgrant funds are supplied by the National Park Service (NPS) and come from offshore oil and gas lease fees.

We enourage you to review the Subgrant Manual before completing any application for an HPF subgrant.

This application will be used for all program areas (Planning, Survey and Inventory, National Register, Documentation, Pre-Development and Development, and Education).  

MEMO TO APPLICANTS

  • The application consists of six (6) parts:

  1. Application Cover

  2. Affidavit for Matching Funds Form

  3. A signed Equal Opportunity Statement or equivalent if not previously provided in a prior year.

  4. Debarment Certification Form for "Lower Tier Covered Transactions" [check Part B and sign]

  5. Budget Forms

  6. Program Area Form.  Please pick one program area below for your application and complete only that form (do not send in blank forms for other program areas).  Continuation pages can be used for any program area.
