Welcome to Nevada Time

Welcome to Nevada Time, a new source of information about Nevada's history, preservation, and stewardship. The following posts will cover a wide range of events and topics related to Nevada's fascinating story. A lot of people have lived, worked, and passed through Nevada. This complex history, combined with our dry Great Basin climate, has preserved many historic remnants on our landscape. Fortunately, there are people who work to preserve historic sites of all kinds. These people include professional archaeologists, architectural historians, and - most importantly - the many Nevada citizens who volunteer to monitor and research our old places. This blog will highlight the people, places, and events that make Nevada special. It is never too late to engage with Nevada's history. We hope that Nevada Time will help you do that.
