Historic Preservation and Archaeological Awareness Month

The SHPO is excited to be celebrating Historic Preservation Month!

We want to hear about your favorite Historic Places! You can fill out this form or you can call 775-684-3427 to tell us about your favorite historic place.

There are several events related to Historic Preservation or Historic Preservation Month Across the state!

Las Vegas events throughout the month:

• Helldorado Days Parade May 9th at 10am on fourth street between Gass Avenue and Stewart Avenue.
• The premiere of the documentary film The City of Las Vegas: The 1980s will be on May 16th at 7:15pm and can be found on YouTube
• Historic Preservation Awards at the Historic Preservation Commission Meeting will be on May 27th at Noon!

Reno is hosting a Historic Preservation Tax Credit Workshop on May 27th!
