Historic Preservation Fund Subgrant FY21

The State Historic Preservation Office has completed the reviews for the 2021 HPF Subgrant applications.

FINAL AWARDS

A public meeting was held September 30, 2021 at 3:30pm.  See the agenda here.

Applications for this round closed August 31, 2021.

Every year, the Nevada State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) awards subgrants from the state’s annual Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) award.  Due to limited federal funds, these subgrants are only available to Certified Local Governments (CLG).  In addition, the subgrant award process is very competitive.

We encourage you to review the Subgrant Manual before completing any application for an HPF subgrant.  If you have any questions, please contact:Carla Hitchcock, Grants and Projects Analyst, 775-684-3441 or by email at chitchcock [at] shpo.nv.gov

This application will be used for all program areas (Planning, Survey and Inventory, National Register, Documentation, Pre-Development and Development, and Education).  The SHPO has set aside $90,000 for subgrants to support all program areas in FY21.

PLEASE NOTE:We are not accepting applications for NAPC’s FORUM currently. We will open applications for FORUM in October of 2021 for the upcoming FORUM conference in Cincinnati, Ohio scheduled for July 13-17, 2022
